Included in this gallery are select excerpts from a edition 16-page, 10 image zine that was published to share photographs made in my home of Laurinburg, NC. These pictures and the zine concept formed the initial foundation for Confessions for A Son (Owl & Tiger, 2014), which juxtaposes the photographs I made concerning my father’s legacy with images taken by him roughly 30-40 years prior. Produced in edition 25, A Journal of Southern History is viewable at Yale University’s Beinecke Rare Book & Manuscript Library within the Indie Photobook Library acquisition.[-]
