It was a tremendous pleasure to collaborate closely with Feature Editor and Author Michael Zelenko on this important story about San Francisco’s water supply, state’s rights, and National Park legislation. For this project I followed the city’s water from its source in Tuolumne Meadows, across the Central Valley, to where it emerges above ground again at the Pulgas Water Temple. I made portraits with Restore Hetch Hetchy’s Executive Director Spreck Rosekrans as well as those I met along the way.[-]
