Harper’s Magazine / Interesting Facts

Photo Editor Stacey Baker commissioned me to make a picture that might accompany Interesting Facts by Adam Johnson for the June 2015 issue of Harper’s Magazine. Focusing on love, loss, and memory, the story repeatedly reference archery. I left my large format 4×5 camera to expose the Golden Gate Park Archery Fields all night during a rainstorm. The extended exposure imprinted the movement of bushes, low-hanging fog, and the blur of falling rain.[-]
